Book Chronicles WWII Impact on Martha's Vineyard

The impacts of World War II were felt throughout the country. Sons and husbands went off to war, there were blackouts and rationing at home and a real concern about an assault on the continental US. Martha’s Vineyard felt all of these impacts perhaps more acutely than other parts of the country because of it’s size and geographic location.
Martha’s Vineyard in World War II is a new book by Tom Dresser, Herb Foster and Jay Schofield. Tom Dresser and Jay Schofield join us in the studio in Woods Hole.
