The ocean is a crowded place and getting busier by the day -- often with organisms and humans in competition for resources and space. But a new film "Ocean Frontiers II: A New England Story for Sustaining the Sea" shows how a collaborative approach to managing the oceans could result in both a healthier marine ecosystem and stable economies. As part of the WCAI Sunday Screening series we sit down with the filmmaker and two of the people involved in the collaboration to better plan for our ocean’s future. Guests on the program are WCAI's Heather Goldstone, Les Kaufman, professor of Biology at Boston University, Stephanie Moura, founding executive director of SeaPlan, and Karen Meyer of Green Fire Productions.
