Poetry Sunday: Brigitte Lent

Brigitte Lent reads her poem, "Saint Valentine and his Dog."

Brigitte is a former diplomatic translator who retired to the Vineyard and has gotten into the habit of reacting to world events from afar with poems of various length, frequently indignant or tongue-in-cheek, because, she says, "poems are shorter than essays and allow a thought to be more condensed."
