Should We Ban Single-use Plastic Bottles on Cape Cod?

Single-use plastic bottles have become ubiquitous- not only do we use them for soda and sports drinks, it seems as if plastic water bottles can be found at every meeting, event, cafeteria, and even in our homes.

Communities across the country, including the town of Concord here in Massachusetts, have passed bans on single use plastic bottles. A Brewster-based environmental group wants a similar ban on Cape Cod.

Joining us is Dr. Madhavi Venkatesan, Executive Director of the group Sustainable Practices.
