Weekend Outlook: Irish Culture, Italian Sauce, and Theater Options Galore

Steve Heaslip / Cape Cod Times

The weather can't be as bad as it was last weekend, so get out there and celebrate! Here's your Weekend Outlook.

This weekend is the start of Irish-themed festivities for March, with the annual St. Patrick’s parade happening in Yarmouth and a new, related cultural festival, the Yarmouth Irish Festival.
It’s a big weekend for theater, with three musicals and one comedy opening up. There's: "Kiss Me Kate" in Orleans, "Jesus Christ Superstar" in Cotuit, "Greater Tuna" in Barnstable and "The Marvelous Wonderettes"in West Harwich.

If you enjoy eating pasta, a place to try several different types of sauces on Saturday night will be, perhaps surprisingly, the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis—and you get more there than a meal. It's the Mangia al Museo.
