Many Halloween attractions launch this weekend, but it's not all spooky stuff. Here's your rundown of events to look out for this weekend.

With Halloween coming up, a lot of people are looking for scary activities, and there’s a new option that’s opening Thursday night in Dennis Port. It's called Captain Lazarus' Haunted Harbor.

A classic scary attraction continues this year, as the Harvest of Horrors happens at Tony Andrews Farm in East Falmouth.

Far from the Halloween theme is the Orleans Surf Film Festival, which is back this weekend to celebrate the surfing culture.

On Nantucket, they’ll be thinking about water, too, but it’s all about trying to catch a very big marine mammal for the annual marathon reading of “Moby-Dick.”
