Poet A. Gray reads their poem, "Sonnet III."

A. Gray is a young composer, poet, and sailmaker. Feeling a pull back to the Atlantic Coast after graduating from Amherst College with a double major in English and Music Composition, they made a home in Mattapoisett. Gray’s senior thesis, a string quartet entitled “Shore”, was premiered in September by the Wistaria String Quartet at the Earthcare Festival in Cummington, MA, and features two movements written for Race Point (Provincetown) and Sippican Harbor (Marion). Gray’s attention to the ocean continues in their current sonnet project, “Ardor Work”, and in this poem, a love letter to the waters around Cape Cod.
