Weekend Outlook: Lots to Do for Fathers

Lisa McIntyre

Fathers Day comes Sunday, and a couple of big local festivals are happening. Here’s your Weekend Outlook.

Sunday is Father’s Day and one of the traditional Cape events to mark that holiday is the Father’s Day Car Show in Hyannis. This year, they’ve adding entertainment to mark an important anniversary.

Two big annual festivals are happening Thursday through Sunday, one about movies and one about books: the Provincetown Film Festival and the Nantucket Book Festival

There’s another festival happening in Yarmouth Port on Sunday, but this one is at a farm. It’s the Sheep Festival at Taylor Bray Farm.

Two events in parts of Falmouth this week will mark Juneteenth, a celebration often cited as African-American Independence Day.

Correction: The Sheep Festival at Taylor Bray Farm is on Sunday.
