Former Associate Producer, Morning Edition / ReporterSam Houghton left CAI in February, 2023, to become News Editor at the Martha's Vineyard Times.
Sam started at CAI in 2017 as host on Saturday's Weekend Edition, then transitioned to Associate Producer, Morning Edition / Reporter. Sam grew up in Woods Hole before moving to New York City for a brief period to pursue journalism. He came back to the Cape when he got a job at his hometown newspaper, the Falmouth Enterprise where he covered local politics.

A suspect in the armed robbery on Martha’s Vineyard was arraigned this morning at Edgartown District Court. Miquel Jones, 30, is being charged with accessory after the fact. Police say he was driving a car that was likely involved in the robbery. An attorney representing him disputed the evidence as circumstantial.
