Bill Staines Keeps a Perfect Record, & more: Best Bets for the Weekend

Don't let the cold weather and gray skies keep you indoors this weekend. There are plenty of fun events to get you out of the house.

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater is known for its live theater in the summer, but this winter its events are on screen with three unusual film series - with simulcast operas, plays, and science programming

Tony Bennett is a regular visitor to Cape Cod. While he's off on a world tour now, fans can hear his music with a tribute concert at CotuitCenter for the Arts on Friday and Saturday.

Now in its 43rd season, the Woods Hole Folk Music Society has a concert this weekend featuring a very familiar face for the group: Bill Staines has performed every year since the WHFMS began, and on Sunday he returns for his 43rd concert. It's sure to be a great show.

Every Wednesday during All Things Considered Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll discuss upcoming events on All Things Considered. This week's conversation is posted above - give it a listen!

Steve is Managing Editor of News. He came to WCAI in 2007. He also hosts the weekly News Roundup on Friday mornings and produces The Fishing News.
