A Black Hole Photo, A Crash Landing On The Moon, The First Landing Of Three Boosters

Scientists have obtained the first image of a black hole. They used the Event Horizon Telescope to observe the center of the galaxy M87.

It’s been a big week for space exploration, and a bit of a roller-coaster. 

First, of course, came the excitement over the first image of a black hole.

Next, there was Israel’s attempt to become the fourth nation to land on the moon. It didn’t quite go as planned, but they got close.

Then, after multiple delays, SpaceX completed its first commercial space launch. It put a satellite into orbit and landed all three booster rockets safely back on Earth.
