July Fourth is the biggest party of the summer. With the holiday on a Saturday, that’s going to be the big day for parades and fireworks.Here's a guide to what's happening around the area.

Another big annual event on July Fourth weekend is the Mashpee Wampanoag Powwow, and that event is built around tribe traditions, dances and food. More info.

Looking ahead, Fleet Moves Dance Festival is back in Wellfleet and has a full five days of events that are designed to bring the idea of dance to new audiences and get people to think more about movement in daily life.More info.
