Get Your Spooky On: Halloween Events Start This Weekend

Heritage Museum and Gardens

With Halloween coming up on a Saturday next week, and some organizations not wanting to get in the way of trick-or-treaters, this turns out to be the big weekend for many Halloween-related events.

Here's a list of Halloween-themed events.

Now, not all of the Halloween events  this weekend are for humans. There are spooky events for dogs, too - and their owners. More info.

In a non-Halloween event this weekend, Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill is focusing on contemporary dance for its 12th annual Provincetown Dance Festival. More info.

Cape Cod hosts a lot of types of film festivals, but a small one this weekend has just one topic: surfing. More info.

Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll discuss upcoming events each Wednesday on All Things Considered. Audio of this week's conversation is posted below. Give it a listen.

Steve is Managing Editor of News. He came to WCAI in 2007. He also hosts the weekly News Roundup on Friday mornings and produces The Fishing News.
