Grandmothers Organize Against Gun Violence

Cape Cod Times photo

Kathleen Glick’s grandson survived the Sandyhook school shooting hiding in a closet with his teacher and classmates. 20 other children and 6 adults at the school were shot and killed that day. Mindy Todd talks with Ms. Glick about the experiences of her grandson that morning and the impacts of the shooting on her family. We’ll also talk with Linda Alhart,  lindaAlhart@aol.com Founder of Grandmothers Against Gun Violence on the Cape, and how this bipartisan group is working to make our communities safe from gun violence.

Mindy Todd is the host and producer of The Point on WCAI which examines critical issues for Cape Cod and the Islands. She brings more than 40 years of experience in radio and television to WCAI.
