Helping Homeowners with Foreclosures on the Cape and Islands

When the housing bubble burst in 2008, many Cape and Islanders faced foreclosure.  Following the housing crisis the economic recession resulted in another round of foreclosures as people were unable to pay their mortgages. Sean Corcoran talks with Housing Counselors from the Housing Assistance Corporation about strategies to avoid foreclosure, when it might be time to let go of a house, and why sometimes renting is preferable to owning a home.
