Holiday Events, with Much to Choose From: Best Bets for the Weekend

Heritage Museums and Gardens
Heritage Museums and Gardens opens its holdiay season this weekend with Gardens Aglow.

Right after Thanksgiving, we jump into the holiday season. This weekend there are some annual traditions starting up. One of those is the Gardens Aglow exhibit at Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich.

On Saturday night, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater is producing the first of four Yule for Fuel concerts that raise money to help pay Lower Cape residents’ heating bills. More info.

Going to the theater to enjoy holiday stories and music is a part of many families' traditions each year. There are many choices to get you out - including five different versions of A Christmas Carol! More info.

OK, a lot of holiday choices. But if you’re just not ready to let go of everything summer, the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History offers visitors a chance this weekend to play mini-golf. More info.

Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll discuss upcoming events every Wednesday on All Things Considered. Audio of this week's conversation is posted below - give it a listen.
