Homeless Youth

May 7, 2019

According to the Massachusetts Department of Education the number of homeless students has steadily risen over the past 6 years. Being homeless isn’t just about a place to sleep; there are implications on physical and mental health, academic success, and risk behavior. On The Point, we talk with those involved with supports and services for homeless children and young adults.

Guests on the program are:

Hadley Luddy, Executive Director of the Homeless Prevention Council

Reverend Christian Holleck, chair of Youth Outreach and Hospitality Scholarship Committee.

Brooke Eaton-Skea, Chair of Youth Outreach and Hospitality.

Greg White, Access Director at Nauset Regional High School.
