Instilling a love of reading at an early age, and how to identify and help children who are struggling to read.  Host Mindy Todd talks with two guests.  Mary Cronin teaches early childhood education and children’s literature at a number of institutions including Cape Cod Community College and Bridgewater State University.  One of her classes is called Raising a Readerand is aimed at parents, teachers, and caregivers.  Lorna Kaufman is a developmental psychologist and past president of the Massachusetts Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. She’s also the author of Smart Kid, Can’t Read.
