Ok. So, you're itching for a round of mini-golf, but you're thinking you have to wait until next summer? Ho ho ho - the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History has a gift for you! You can play mini golf right through the exhibits on Saturday. Fore!

If you're making plans for New Year's Eve, there are two big townwide First Night events on the Cape to consider. Sandwich is in its third year celebrating the New Year with a parade, exhibits, ice sculptures, and storefront-and-street performances such as jugglers and mimes.

Chatham throws its 24th shindig to mark the end of a year, beginning with a Town Photo at the Chatham Lighthouse at noon, and culminating with fireworks at Oyster Pond as the Countdown Cod lands on the stroke of midnight.

Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll discuss upcoming events every Thursday on All Things Considered. Audio of this week's conversation is posted above - give it a listen.

Steve is Managing Editor of News. He came to WCAI in 2007. He also hosts the weekly News Roundup on Friday mornings and produces The Fishing News.
