Multicultural Festival Brings Music, Food and More: Best Bets for the Weekend

Cape Cod Community College

The Multicultural Festival of Cape Cod will be back for its 15th year Saturday at Cape Cod Community College, with all kinds of ways to experience traditions from other countries. And don't forget the food trucks!

Groups paying tribute to the Beatles and Fleetwood Mac have visited Barnstable High School in past years. This winter? It’s the sound of the Eagles.

Students at high schools from around the area have been memorizing poetry to compete in a national contest, with one of the rounds happening in South Yarmouth on Sunday.

The Academy of Performing Arts in Orleans stages a lot of Broadway musicals, but the show that’s opening Friday night offers different versions of songs and shows than people may be familiar with.

Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll discuss upcoming events every Wednesday on All Things Considered. This week's conversation is posted above - give it a listen.

Steve is Managing Editor of News. He came to WCAI in 2007. He also hosts the weekly News Roundup on Friday mornings and produces The Fishing News.
