Wellfleet's annual OysterFest celebrates all things related to the bivalve, and culminates with the much-anticipated oyster shucking contest. And the 6th Annual Oyster Symposium takes place on the Upper Cape - the first time this international event has come to North America.
Beyond oysters, if you’re a foodie - or a wine enthusiast - the focus this weekend is in Edgartown for the annual Martha’s Vineyard Food and Wine Festival.
