Art has long been a way for individuals to respond to personal, political and social issues. With a roundtable of artists, we discuss some of the techniques used to convey thoughts or ideas, the capacity of art to generate conversation around issues, and what makes some art controversial. We also discuss the role and responsibilities of curated spaces when showing art and responding to controversy.
Guests on the program are: Lauren Wolk author, poet, and artist; Richard Neal, artist; Harry Seymour, artist; Richard Limber, artist; Bob Staake, artist; and Jay Critchley, artist. We also hear from writer and performance artist Christine Ernst. Mindy Todd hosts.
