A Saxophone More Than 6 Feet Tall, & more: Music Highlights A Busy Weekend of Events

Your ears should enjoy another weekend full of diverse musical events - including one featuring saxophones of all sizes.  

This Friday at United Methodist Church in Wellfleet,a benefit concert features the Ukeladies and the trio Toast and Jam. Proceeds got to help Wana's Safe House for Girls in Haiti.  

The Cape Cod Sax Quartet performs jazz, classical, and popular music Saturday night at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod in South Yarmouth. They'll be showcasing a variety of saxophones - including a contrabass saxophone that's 6 feet 4 inches tall!

A group of established songwriters and aspiring songwriters are gathering inProvincetown this weekend, an artistic exchange that’s going to result in two different concerts.

And for theater, CotuitCenter for the Arts is starting off its theater year with an unusual comedy and the reading of a new play.
