St. Patrick's Parade in Yarmouth a Big Deal, & more: Best Bets for the Weekend

Cape Cod Chamber

This is the weekend for the Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Parade in Yarmouth. It's the winter's biggest event by the numbers, drawing 40,000 spectators, with almost 400 expected to march.

More info on the parade.

Next Tuesday is officially International Women’s Day, but there’s a benefit concert Friday night at the Cultural Center in Yarmouth to celebrate that recognition of women.

Looking ahead, anyone who has been to Cotuit Center for the Arts has likely seen executive director David Kuehn introducing a concert or play or other event. But theatergoers are going to see him in a new role on stage, as an actor with lines. More info.

Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll discuss upcoming events every Wednesday on All Things Considered. Audio of this week's conversation is posted below - give it a listen.

Steve is Managing Editor of News. He came to WCAI in 2007. He also hosts the weekly News Roundup on Friday mornings and produces The Fishing News.
