WCAI Staff to Moderate Environmental Film Series at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater

All tickets sales at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater have been suspended until after April 1 and out of concern for the rapidly evolving threat of Coronavirus / COVID-19 the following events have been cancelled:

·       Metropolitan Opera Live in HD Broadcast of Der Fliegende Holländer, March 14

·       Sea Change Series w/ Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary & WCAI: The Serengeti Rules, March 21

·       Community Showcase with Wellfleet Rec. Dept., March 28 & April 4

·       Tour of Croatia, September 2020

 

As of Monday, March 16th, the Environmental Film Series with WCAI is on. It will take place on Saturday, April 25 from 7–9 PM, with Dragons and Damsels, a beautifully photographed film that reveals the complex lives of dragonflies and damselflies. Afterwards, the discussion will feature Blair Nikula, an expert on the damselflies and dragonflies of Massachusetts, Wellfleet Bay naturalist James Sweeney, and dragonfly surveyor and monitor Janet Sisterson. WCAI’s director of editorial, Mindy Todd, will lead the panel discussion.

All films will be screened at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater. Tickets may be purchased for $12 at what.org or by calling the theater at 508-349-9428.
