You may think of rubber ducks as baby’s toys in the bathtub, but a big flock of them are going to get into the Bass River Saturday for a good cause.

It's the 2016 Rubber Duck Regatta.

Also this weekend, there are two big concerts happening on Saturday that could make a difference in the community. The first one, starting Saturday afternoon, is in memory of a young local musician, Alex Holmes. It's the Alex Holmes Memorial Concert, from 2-8pm at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds.

The second concert event has an all-female program of performers, to help Cape Wellness Collaborative. More info.

And just because it's good fun, to celebrate American Craft Beer Week, Cape Cod Beer in Hyannis is starting a new tradition on Friday night.More info.

Steve Junker and Kathi Scrizzi Driscoll discuss upcoming events every Wednesday on All Things Considered. Audio of this week's conversation is below - give it a listen.
