Musical acts highlight our local entertainment options. Here’s your Weekend Outlook.

There are some top musical acts in different genres finishing out the summer with Labor Day weekend concerts around the Cape and islands. That starts with two big Broadway and TV stars who will be in Provincetown this weekend.

In North Truro, Payomet Performing Arts Center says it will be offering its “best Labor Day lineup ever” for music this weekend.

This is also a big weekend for antiques and craft shows in the area, including one in Harwich.

Local visual artists are getting a start on fall, with several exhibits opening this weekend with free receptions, then continuing into September.

Steve is Managing Editor of News. He came to WCAI in 2007. He also hosts the weekly News Roundup on Friday mornings and produces The Fishing News.
