Weekend Outlook: Music, Ballet, and Balloons

Brielle Tishler

There are options both holiday-related and not in the next few days. Here's your Weekend Outlook.

Two music acts that have been popular on the Cape in recent summers are returning this weekend, both in connection with Cotuit Center for the Arts: Sons of Serendip.

The second concert is a popular singer paying a tribute of sorts to a different, very well-known singer. It's Joan Osborne.

For a holiday show, this is dance fans’ last chance of the season to catch a local production of “The Nutcracker" performed by Reaching Heart School of Ballet in West Harwich.

Parents looking for ways to divert the kids this weekend might want to try doing that with balloons in Brewster at the Cape Cod Natural History Museum on Saturday.

And CapeWeek has a special end-of-the-year feature this week involving local theater.
