TheProvincetown Theater is premiering Winter Play Dates, a three month-long reading series of new American full-length plays. The series includes six new full-length plays directed and performed by local artists. In a diverse line-up of new works, participating playwrights range from local to regional to national. Following each reading, the playwright will engage in a talkback with the audience. We talk with artistic director at the Provincetown Theatre David Drake about the series and some of the other programs at the theater designed to promote regional playwrights.
