What's the Future for Land based Wind Turbines in Massachusetts?
Governor Deval Patrick has set a state wide goal of installing 2,000 megawatts of wind energy before 2020 in an effort to make Massachusetts a leader in clean energy. But as wind turbines began to spin, some neighbors complained about noise and negative health impacts. On The Point, a discussion about the wind turbines in Falmouth, Fairhaven, and Cohasset, and how communities have been trying to balance a desire for renewable energy while addressing the concerns of turbine neighbors.
