The Harwich Conservation Trust is working to purchase a 49 acre parcel of land along Pleasant Bay that has historical and potential archaeological significance. The purchase would preserve the largest undeveloped, unprotected landscape in the Pleasant Bay watershed to protect woods, water and wildlife. Mindy Todd discusses the project on The Point with Michael Lach, Executive Director of the Harwich Conservation Trust. Also guests on the program are Scott Ridley, Historian and author of Morning of Fire: John Kendrick's Daring American Odyssey in the Pacific and Timothy Earle, Emeritus Professor of Anthropology at Northwestern University.

Mindy Todd is the host and producer of The Point on WCAI which examines critical issues for Cape Cod and the Islands. She brings more than 30 years of experience in radio and television to WCAI.
