Each year, the Mercy Otis Warren ‘Cape Cod Woman of the Year Award is presented to a woman who has demonstrated leadership in the Cape Cod community, and has made significant contributions to one or more of the following areas: the Arts, Education, Business, Community Involvement or Volunteerism on a local level. On The Point, we discuss the life and legacy of Mercy Otis Warren, some of the women honored with the award over the decades, and how to nominate a woman for the 2021 award.

With us are Ann Canedy and Alice George, who sit on the Selection Committee for the Mercy Otis Award,
and Mimi McConnell, 2020 award recipient.
