Hurricane Sandy was the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season, as well as the second-costliest hurricane in United States history.  On The Point, host Mindy Todd talks with WCAI Science Editor Heather Goldstone and Nature Writer David Gessner about lessons learned.    Gessner also talks about the efforts of Geologist Orrin Pilkey to stop reconstruction.  He poses the question why are people rebuilding, as if all this isn't going to happen again?
