Louisiana Lawmakers Get Into Fight At A Bar

DAVID GREENE, HOST:

Good morning I'm David Greene. These are tense political times, but really? In Louisiana, two state lawmakers disagreed over a bill, and they took their fight to the bar. Representative Stuart Bishop told USA Today his fellow lawmaker punched him several times. Now, the men, who are evidently friends, have apologized. They're lucky they had left the bar by the time police arrived or it would have been less funny when, as a prank, Bishop's colleagues plastered his desk with yellow crime tape. It's MORNING EDITION.
