Here's a show not to miss. This weekend Darlene Love performs at a fabulous venue, the Wellfleet Congregational Church.

Love spent much of her early career providing back-up vocals on an astonishing range of classic rock'n'roll music, singing on records by Sam Cooke, the Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, and Ike and Tina turner, among many others. As a member of Phil Spector's legendary "Wall of Sound," she provided lead vocals for the Crystal's hit "He's a Rebel."

In 2011 Love was inducted to the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame.

The show is particularly timely, as one of Darlene Love's signature songs is the holiday anthem: "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)." Go catch the holiday spirit with an amazing performer.

Steve Junker and Matthias Bossi discuss Darlene Love's career and upcoming appearance in the segment from All Things Considered posted above. Give a listen.
