In the weeks after the President died, Jacqueline Kennedy received thousands of letters from bereaved citizens. As we near the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, a new film is being released in which 20 of those letters are voiced by notable actors. The documentary "Letters to Jackie: Remembering President Kennedy," also features archival footage and unique Kennedy home movies.
Academy and Emmy award winning filmmaker Bill Courturie and Author and Historian Ellen Fitzpatrick join Mindy Todd to talk about the film on The Point (audio posted above).
On Saturday, October 19, the Woods Hole Film Festival and the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum will give a special event screening of the documentary film.
