A New Era for Protest Songs

Your browser doesn’t support HTML5 audio

Protest music has been the soundtrack for some of America's most significant struggles.  These days more Americans are taking to the streets.  Protesting has become popular once again.  But what about music?  Is there a corresponding interest in music that speaks to the struggle?  WCAI's Sean Corcoran talks to two musicians with perspectives on the issue: international protest singer Billy Bragg; and singer-songwriter Ryan Montbleau.  Ryan also sings for us in the studio.
