In 2002, author Ann Hood’s five-year-old daughter died unexpectedly. She wrote a memoir about the experience, and  her subsequent fiction also offers insight into loss, grief, and recovery. Ann Hood joins Mindy Todd on The Point to talk about her latest novel The Obituary Writer.  Also on the program, Ann Geagan, Director of Hope Community Care’s Bereavement Counseling, talks about the journey of grief and how we can help friends and family who may be grieving.
