WCAI News Director Sean Corcoran discusses the region's top news stories of the week with local newspaper reporters and editors. Joining Sean in our Woods Hole studio is Patrick Cassidy of the Cape Cod Times. On the phone is Joshua Balling of the Nantucket Inquirer and Mirror; Sally Rose of the Provincetown Banner; Jim DeArruda of the New Bedford Standard Times; and Geoff Spillane of the Mashpee Enterprise.

Among the stories discussed, a group of developers propose spending $150 million on a hotel and sports complex in Sandwich. There are serious questions about how the medical community tests for Lyme disease. Questions come up about an area of ocean south of Martha's Vineyard, where the government would like to see wind turbines. And the battle over a plan to grow shellfish in waters off Mashpee isn't over yet.
