Don Cuddy

The famed whaling ship, the Charles W. Morgan, returned last week to New Bedford, the city where it was launched in 1841. WCAI correspondent Don Cuddy has been collecting remembrances about the whaler. He speaks with Morning Edition host Dan Tritle about the ship's storied history and shares some of the anecdotes that were prompted by the Morgan's return.  The vessel will be open for public tours at the State Pier in New Bedford through Sunday, July 6th.

Host and producer Dan Tritle has wanted to be on the radio since he was five years old. A washashore from the Pacific Northwest, he's been at the job since May 2000, shortly after the station went on the air.
