On Nantucket, Deer Hunt Means Fresh Venison for Needy Islanders

Deer hunting season is underway on Nantucket. This year, some hunters will donate their venison to the Nantucket Food Pantry. It's a way of keeping deer populations in check, while also feeding the community. WCAI Morning Edition co-host Brian Morris spoke with Anne-Marie Bellavance, the director of the Nantucket Food Pantry, to find out more.
