They Don’t Call It a Plunge for Nothing

It was so cold on New Year’s Day that many local polar plunges rescheduled.  But not Provincetown.  

 
In Provincetown, hardy New Year’s Day plungers insisted on going ahead—despite the minus 5 degree windchill, and the event organizer’s ambivalence.  Our reporter Stephanie Guyer-Stevens braved the cold and sent us this audio postcard of the Provincetown Polar Bear Plunge.
