Good news for music lovers – plenty of lively events are happening around the Cape and Islands.  Here's your Weekend Outlook.

The Mommyheads may have played arenas around Europe, but the indie-pop band will make its Cape Cod debut Friday at a free concert at Wellfleet Public Library.

On Saturday night, there’s another unusual music event, this one for people who are fans of the old -- or of the new -- vinyl record albums.

More album news is happening Friday night when a Falmouth musician holds a CD release party.

Fans of ‘50s music will be able to dance Saturday night away at a fundraiser that you might want to dress up for.
