Black Skimmer
National Audubon Society

It's a busy month for birding on the Cape and Islands.  Migrating sandpipers and plovers are streaming back from their arctic nesting grounds and turning up at local hot spots.  Baby birds are everywhere.  We also take a closer look at black skimmers; where do these strange birds breed?   We hear from Mark Faherty, science coordinator at Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.  Listeners also chime in with their bird questions.  Mindy Todd hosts.
