Barnstable Parents to Weigh in on Schools Superintendent Search

Barnstable Public Schools

The Barnstable Public School District is searching for its next superintendent.

An email from the School Committee to parents on Wednesday said the position will begin July 1.

The committee will host two forums on Zoom for parents and guardians to weigh in on the search. Those hearings are scheduled for September 29 and October 5.

The Massachusetts Association of School Committees has been retained as the School Committee’s search consultant.

Superintendent Meg Mayo-Brown was appointed in 2016 and will not seek a contract beyond June.
