Night of the Storm 2

Saturday Night: the High Wind Advisory from the National Weather Service has been lifted, but northwest wind gusts will still be significant overnight - especially considering the weight of ice and snow on trees and power lines.

As of 9:20pm NStar is still reporting new failures on its equipment across Cape Cod, even as it struggles to catch up from the outages of Friday night into Saturday morning.

Here's a snapshot of outages as of 9:15pm.  You can see it's an ugly picture: roughly half of the Cape without power, and some truly impressive local numbers. 91% of customers in Brewster without power, 99% in Mattapoisett, 94% in Marion, 95% in Wareham. Pity the poor linemen out in this storm working to restore service.
