On Poetry Sunday, Mary E. Cronin reads her poem, "Running in Flip Flops."

Mary says, "In Running in Flip Flops I'm trying to capture the way that Cape Cod kids inhabit their world with confidence and ease. So many people come to visit and enjoy this beautiful place. But Cape Cod kids? They own it."

Mary E. Cronin is a children’s writer who lives in Harwich and teaches English and Early Childhood Education at Cape Cod Community College and at Bridgewater-Cape Cod.  She also teaches creative writing at Barnstable County Correctional Facility and is an early literacy trainer for Cape Cod Child Development.
