Poetry Sunday: Albert Starkey

Albert Starkey reads his poem, "A Time to Be Born."  

Al Starkey is a past winner of The Atlanta Review’s International poetry competition, a winner of the International Library of Poetry’s Open Poetry Contest, and a recipient of The Carriage House Poetry Prize of Tiferet Journal.  His poetry has been published in several journals, magazines and two anthologies. It has also been exhibited in several Cape Cod art galleries and museums. He is the author of five books of poetry titled, On Eireann’s Edge, Moonrise Soon, Blue Music, Closer and, in 2018, Whistling Underwater.  Al and his wife, Susan reside in the village of Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts.
