Ruth Smullin lives and writes in the Boston area. Vacations on Cape Cod have been an important part of her summers since she was three. Her poems have been published in Common Ground Review, Constellations, Crucible (winner of the Sam Ragan Prize), Ibbetson Street, Plainsongs, Naugatuck River Review,  Sow’s Ear Poetry Review and The Aurorean. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee. Her chapbook, The Open Door, is forthcoming from Finishing Line Press.
