Jillian Entenman reads her poem, "One Day."

Jillian is a poet and producer based in New York City. She shares her experience writing this poem, "Five years ago my Uncle Rob died suddenly after a routine surgery. We were gutted. Awake late one night, crying, a train rushed by in the distance and this poem was born. Just last weekend, I read this poem at his father’s memorial. His father, my grandfather, two months from 91 still left us too soon. Uncle Rob and Grandpa Bob, larger than life, impossible to imagine the world without. This poem ties us together. I hope it helps others see their loved ones in the simplest of pleasures.”
